October 27, 2010 | Indiana Convention Center | 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This annual event brings together entrepreneurs, executives and policymakers for learning, dialogue and debate on the central challenge of today’s economy – turning today’s ideas into tomorrow’s business breakthroughs. The Summit includes keynote speakers, breakout sessions on a variety of innovation related topics, and dozens of trade and industry booths.
Innovation Summit ’10 will feature iconoclastic technology writer Nicholas Carr as the keynote speaker, author of the recently released book, The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains. Agree or disagree with him, Carr makes us think – and that’s the first step towards innovation.
Carr has been called a leading and influential thinker by technology trade publications and his often controversial theories in articles such as “IT Doesn’t Matter,” and “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” has brought him a lot of tech media throughout the years.
Carr’s keynote remarks will be supported by several hands-on workshops and panels designed and led by some of Indiana’s most successful entrepreneurs and innovators.
The Innovation Summit ’10 trade show floor will be filled with leading universities, companies and start-up operations eager to share information and explore new business opportunities.
