Summer brings a proven drive for operational clarity, organizational transformation, and strategic growth. She is deeply committed to advancing the Indiana SBDC and its strategic initiatives through bold leadership, innovative solutions, and an unwavering focus on people. As a small business owner, she understands the importance and value of the Indiana SBDC's work and is deeply committed to moving the organization forward.

In her previous roles, she dedicated more than 15 years to leading cross-functional teams, driving large-scale transformations, and optimizing operations, grants management, and financial systems.

Outside of work, Summer is an amateur Halloween prop and costume designer with a love for all things macabre. She also enjoys spending time in the woods and connecting with wildlife. This imaginative flair inspires her professional approach, much like a well-crafted haunted house, creative, strategically planned, and flawlessly executed to leave a lasting impression.
